Mmm.... Today was a long day. Well, the assembly today was kinda fun, well at lesat the 2nd part of it hahas. We watched American Idol, season 1,2,3. It was HILARIOUS I TELL YOU. Omg, it was crazy, so freaking funny! The whole hall laughed hahaha. I was so lucky I didn't fall asleep lol! I want to like go youtube now and watch the remaining parts, but its kinda late alr hahaha. Well, after that went for band again, had junior band. :O They all thought it was theory today, I don't know why, hahaha, maybe they like theory? :P Well, anyways we did drills, hahaha it was kinda funny, I was laughing at the juniors like the whole time! They can't tell the difference between the commands of turning to the right and dress to the right, it was hilarious teaching them, so yah, no regrets, kinda fun. :) After that went to the parade rehersal, woah, the band formation was kinda cool, hahaha. Then June said she could hear me very clearly, cause she sits infront of me! LOL! Okay, then after that went for the concert rehersal... Hmmm... We played overture no. 1 QUITE decently, BUT NOT GOOD ENOUGH! And the school song... NO FWEELING. LOL. But seriously no hweeling. So we seriously needa work on the school song, and the CG, first time see weiren conduct hahaha, so cool. He conduct also not bad lah, except when he dropped the " baton " ( actually a stick ) but well, its still cool. hahaha. Oh and jodie and suhaylah did a good job conducting us too, be it their first one. LOL. And one more thing, the CG, dance and choir did well. I mean it was beyond my expectations, they played/danced/sang. Really really well. Hahaha, best regards for your SYFs :) Well, after that went to eat at Mac.
After huixiu went home, talked a lot with Renee. LOL. Like seriously quite a lot, we talked till 9. HAHAHA. After talking to her, made me realise something, its something negative that I don't really want to put up here, but heys, who reads my blog anyways hahaha. " I was really envious of you, why people would still remember you, even after that long. If it was me, they probably wouldn't even care. I kudos to you, really. " Oh and I also think I realised another important point... I'm considered kinda weak in my section hahaha. I think I was too complacent in the past bahs, that I've become kinda weak. I can't blast like Hansley, play nicely like izzat, or something that is worth commending about. If you tell people I play the baritone, they'll go like. Okay, he plays the baritone, thats all there is to it. I thought I played well, due to the fact, I know my rhythm, and I don't get wrong notes, but you see, if you talk about Amirul, he has nice tone, and he plays very nicely too, thats something worth commending, but I DON'T have nice tone, nor do I play very nicely either. I'm just an average baritone player. Take June, she has confidence, and dares to play loudly and can support Amirul ( someone who's starting to play loudly lol ) without any problem, and they 2 sound the same. So she's someone who have lots of confidence, but still room for improvement in other areas, but I can't support the band as the bass, as Mr Wong is always complaining the bass is too soft, so I'm not better then June either. So I'm like the weakest in my section haha, this is bad. Tsk. Let's take Nicholas as another example, he's always complaining his rhythm, cannot make it, but when you see Nicholas, you'll say, his tone is better then last time, there was improvement. But if you take me for example, my tone didn't really improve or what. Its just like that. From the start I played Bari till now, no one has actually said my tone did improve or what, so I guess its really that bad huhs? So I guess its time I give myself a morning call, I'm not good and far from it. What must I do to improve? I don't want to be weak.
